(Village location) I don't know what it is about make up stores and their associates but it's always a hit or miss with their customer service. You're in the beauty industry and you're rude?!? Lol I'll always come here regardless because they have everything I need. Staff is unpredictable, am I going to get a nice one today or a glance? The associates at the register aren't always the friendliest. They don't smile at you, say thank you. Most of the time I'm saying thank you to them. Humorous really. I don't expect much when I go there. I get my stuff and go. No need to get upset over rude or unfriendly staff.

I dread going to this store. The amount of pressure the cashiers put on you to get your phone number when checking out is ridiculous. I decline politely when first asked. They ask again. I decline. On this latest time, the third time he asked again literally sounded like a threat... "Are you SURE...? You can't return your product unless you give us your phone number." LIE. The back of the receipt clearly says: "Return Policy: Returns are easy! No need to have your original printed receipt when you make a return if you used your Ultamate Rewards membership number on your purchase. IF YOU ARE NOT A MEMBER OR DID NOT USE YOUR MEMBERSHIP NUMBER, YOUR ORIGINAL RECEIPT IS REQUIRED. Returns or exchanges can be made at any Ulta Beauty store." Why do the cashiers subject customers to the repeated hassle at the checkout counter? They literally try to intimidate or shame you if you don't give them your phone number at checkout. So weird and I leave there irritated the few times I do go there (product I get doesn't ship well). Next time...will avoid going into that store any way possible.
