We recently finished several projects with Melanie and couldn't be happier. She has a great eye for fabric and made a beautiful window seat cushion and pillows for our kitchen nook. We also bought some window shades for our kitchen and lovely romans for our living room. She is very detail-oriented and took lots of time mulling over fabrics with us and discussing their pros and cons. I will certainly be calling her in the future!

Umami Interiors was extremely helpful in working with me to chose shades for our new apartment. Melanie came in person, understood that the measurements of the windows were not uniform, and spent time working with me to pick out the right materials, colors, price and configuration for the shades. She is personable and has a good eye. The installers that she works with were professional, timely and neat!

Beautiful shop! And welcoming! An asset to the community when there are so few retail of this caliber! The atmosphere is warm, and the goods are so well curated and displayed with hand made and vintage items.. a treasure..
