Ok so overall this place is pretty awesome it’s been my go to pot shop. Everyone has been cool until today one employee made a horrible impression. I parked facing backwards (yes they have signs saying not to) and when I walked out and employee was right in front of me and instead of saying anything to me SLAPPED (I mean as hard as she could) a sticker on my car saying not to park like that. She hit the car so hard my dog was crying inside. Multiple people in the parking lot saw it and all thought the employee was being extremely rude. I tried calling and speaking to a manager who really did not care at all until she could hear other people in the background talking about how rude the lady was. The response from the manager was “ok so is that it?” Eventually the manager did seem apologetic but this was a terrible experience for me and even more so my dog.

I cannot express how professionally empathetic and helpful the staff at Uncle Ike's Central District store is; but, I will try. I live with a form of Ehlers-danlos syndrome and its usual comorbid conditions ( MCAS, POTS, GI dysmotility) and am still learning about various strains that work for acute and chronic pain(s) , chronic nausea, fatigue, etc. I am a medical consumer and so appreciate the support and compassion; as well as shared knowledge and wisdom, from staff consistently. Being a fairly new Seattlite, relocating partly for equitable access to medical cannabis, I am just so relieved to find consistent, reliable, equitable , inclusive medical cannabis care . Ray is a phenomenal bud who went above and beyond to help me register and even knew about EDS ( definitely more knowledge than most of my MD specialists 🤭) and Patrick really helped me feel welcome and safe to take my time and ask questions as I am still kind of a plant medicine novice. Thank you, WA , for welcoming my service pup and me from Fl 🫠 and thank you, Uncle Ike's Central for being an amazing medical cannabis resource. I'm a lifer 🤸♂️🤸🤸♂️
