Really great vibes and coffee! Met some friends for coffee here and really appreciate the neighborhood feel and ambiance they have cultivated in this space. The noise level was decent and the music was accommodating so were able to have good, deep conversation without broadcasting too much and compromising our privacy and vice versa for other folks. Would say if you like the buzz of working in a communal space to be creative would also be great to work w your laptop or pen and pad. The coffee was solid—I got a decaf vanilla latte with almond milk. They have a range of whole bean bags, coffee gear, and UCR merch and would definitely come back for another cup and a bag! Friendly baristas and community—come as you are! :-)

The good news is that the coffee is good. It’s expensive. But it’s decent. However, everytime I go here I feel so sympathetic to the employees. I don’t know if it’s a bad system or lack or organization but everything is SO SLOW. it takes 15 mins to get a coffee and that’s if more than one person is working. I’m here now and there’s only one employee here taking orders and making coffee and it’s pretty busy. They don’t set their employees up for success and I feel horrible when the customers are rightfully frustrated with the time. Even when there’s three people working, somehow it takes forever to get your coffee. I don’t know what it is… but they need to sort that out.
