My mom was the first resident at Union Hill Senior Care, and she lived there for over two and a half years until she passed away. I highly recommend it. Delia, Joseph, and all the caregivers took great care of my mom and were able to support her as her needs changed. Delia is an RN, and she always kept me up-to-date on my mom's condition, changes, and when I needed to take action. The updates were always at the right level of detail and the right level of urgency.
My mom's day-to-day life was made as interesting as possible depending on her ability to engage. Everyone had great patience to allow her to do as much as possible at her own pace. That is very important as a person becomes more and more dependent. They have activities and entertainment -- a very supportive family environment. I visited several times a week and was able to get to know everyone.
The facility itself is beautiful, immaculate, and well-maintained. As great as the facility is, the people are even better.
When you are caring for an aging parent, you want to make sure that they have the best care possible. Union Hill Senior Care was one of the best choices that I made for my mom. They made her final years the best that they could be.
