University Place Apartments

Horrible place!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After finding out we owed money due to mis communication and documents being sent to the wrong address. our bill was sent to a "collector" but cant be found (which we have been trying to pay.) we are having the worst luck finding a new home. Since trying to find a home to rent, we are getting a lot of nos, because University says we owe money to them. We are having a hard time because we cant get the correct info to pay it. It took another property manager to call them and get the information after trying for a week to get the same information. How pathetic is that? Im trying to do my responsibility but they have made it a nightmare and yet I still cant find the where the bill is so we can pay what we owe. Poor management skills.

We moved into University Park 2 years ago, and we just moved out and everything has been finalized. I was skeptical moving in as I read a lot of negative reviews regarding this place. Well let me tell you, it was a pretty darn great first apartment for us!! I was not expecting to get a deposit back after reading the reviews but we were able to get 3/5th of the deposit back, and the manager Graycee even helped us to get as much of the deposit back as possible! University is definitely one of the "better" places to live in town, they are close enough to the college that you can walk within ~15 minutes, but far enough that you forget you're in a college town! While the outside maintenance has gone down hill since we moved in, it is still a wonderful place to live. The maintenance man Lauren is an absolute wonder, we had a total of 3 requests, and every single request was done the same day!! He even helped me move my kitchen shelves down, and replace our bulbs (I am not tall enough for these tasks!) He is very polite and awesome at his job!

While I am surprised at the many negative reviews, I think there is much more to the story behind those reviews because overall, we only have great things to say about the team at University Park and Place! Thank you guys.
