Update on this, the UPS driver responsible marked it as delivered at my address at 4pm yesterday. It was then scanned and actually delivered to an entirely different address at 7pm last night according to UPS (after sitting in the freezing weather FOR HOURS the homeowner returned home saw the live fish stickers and was kind enough to drop off my DEAD fish.)
Dropped my fish off at an extremely wrong address. Wouldn't answer calls or complaints. I want a refund to not just me,, but the seller as well. These are extremely rare imports. They killed my fish and have never been able to do their job correctly from what the other reviews mention.
The Elma distribution center is a joke. I had live fish being shipped overnight from out of state, but it got delayed in Elma. It took me forever to figure out how on earth to get past the repeating computer and finally get a real person. When transferred to the supervisor to see if I could just come get the fish, I was told that he would try but there was no guarantee. I was also told they would be delivered the following day.
I don't understand why he "would try" for ME to pick up the package and save them from having to deliver it. That saves them from going to my address at all or even handling the package further other than moving it out of the way. They are live animals, not just an inanimate object in a box.
I paid for overnight shipping. Either I should be refunded, the package delivered today, or I be allowed to pick up it up today. The Elma facility is small and the door right there next to the few trucks they have. I had to hang up when trying to talk to the supervisor, because he made me feel confused and I didn't want to start crying on the phone. I know they are busy. He could have said yes or no, sorry. Instead, I don't know if he'd let me pick it up if I did show up there.
Fed Ex at least delivered my other fish from Florida on time overnight last week, and USPS Priority Mail is out for delivery from Florida from yesterday. This one doesn't have to travel half as far!
I don't do social media. I want to talk to a real person.
