I went to this collection box because it was rated 5 stars.

Two things of note for people who are driving here to drop their physical snail mail: 1.) This USPS collection box is on the NE corner of Beacon and Hanford, as can be seen in the submitted photo and Google's own Streetview, not the SE corner. I've submitted several edits but they've all disappeared because Google is like, the opposite of what it was ten years ago when it nothing but Automagically Works. 2.) This is a really weird intersection that sees a number of close calls due to haphazard infrastructure planning. It's technically right turn only from Hanford to Beacon at Beacon. You're not supposed to drive through the double yellow gap in the median island to go straight or make a left from either direction. They're not enforcing it at the moment because I suppose we're not really doing laws unless it rates a felony here in Seattle for reasons in the here and now, but in the past, folks used to be ticketed here. There is a traffic signal for the pedestrian crossing, but as a driver on Hanford, you can't see the signal and it's not for you anyway.
