Dr stein is by far one of the best surgeons in state of Washington. He actually cares about his patient s. He is very very good at what he does. Hes up there with Dr Shane morrisson and Dr Alexander skoan. These are best surgeons in state Washington hands down saved my life. However Dr Steins. Medical team where he does the surgerys at are absolutely horrible. The receptionist where surgery was done was very rude. I was constantly misgendered. You cant see my id says female and obvious in my medical chart says female. Nurses where surgery was done were horrible. I was misgendered. Nurses said they were puerto rican why i was misgendered. Where is your prodesssionalism. Dr stein s staff at surgery site is absolutely horrible. Dr stein is amazing only reason why you get 5 stars is Dr Stein shouldnt be docked or punished for his staffs incomptency and for his staffs rudeness. Dr stein really cares. Its really sad a Dr of his class and caliber. Has a garbage staff under him. Im not punishing a great dr by his rating because most of his medical team is rude misgenders client s. Dr stein is great. Thank dr stein for 5 stars or otherwise not for dr stein you would got 1 star. Where surgery happened his staff was horrible. Please get Dr stein a better team hes wanderfull Dr who cares. He deserves a good team surgery site not garbage team. Thanks Dr Stein you do amazing work and you saved my life sad you have garbage team you deserve better. Your staff main office are decent. Where surgery was done they are horrible. If it would not be for Dr Stein id report all of them to medical board for mal practice. I love Dr stein. Hes best. So i wont do that. Uw med please get Dr Stein a better team.

Hospital is providing very poor care for my niece. Yesterday, there was a 2-hour mix-up in which doctor was assigned to her, so she got pain meds 3-4 hours late. Today Doctors neglected to answer a page this afternoon so she must wait until morning and go 18 hours without a feeding tube? It’s now coming out and is causing her extreme pain— and she must suffer like this all night, due to their extreme negligence. Inhumane and unacceptable .Avoid this Medical Center at all costs They deserve all the one-star ratings they are getting.

I had an appointment with Dr. Kraus. He's a neurologist and I had an EMG study done. I had an appointment from 10-11am and I brought a very well respected radiologist with me to the appointment to try and get some actual answers. Dr. Kraus finished up the EMG at 10:30 leaving 30 minutes allocated for my appointment. We tried asking several followup questions and he wouldn't answer anything else because all I was scheduled for was an EMG. He's a neurologist refusing to do any neurological tests for half an hour because the piece of paper said EMG. They're already putting the bill at thousands to just see them for an hour. I wouldn't have cared if it billed me extra. I drove 2 hours and waited 5 months to see this doctor only to be treated like I didn't matter and asking questions was not permitted. If your doctor refers you to this doctor I would recommend going with a different doctor. Maybe you'll actually get properly treated elsewhere. What a shame. My friend knew several people who did residencies at this hospital. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.
Update: my Primary care put in a referral for a Neurologist study and I was only supposed to get an EMG if they refused the results of my previous one. So not only did I get a procedure done that I wasn't even referred for. I got a doctor who was more concerned about racking up billables than fulfilling the Hippocratic oath.
