I just recently began my prenatal care with Dr. Tiwari. At 36 weeks I switched providers because I wasnt happy with the care I was receiving after I suffered a painful and hip injury late in pregnancy. Dr. Tiwari accepted me as a patient, our initial visit was long. She listened carefully and was very compassionate. She is detailed in her appointment notes and took the time to address my many concerns. The office staff is also very friendly and I look forward to meeting another Meridian OB for the birth of my daughter.
Worse experience with OB/ Maternity Care I’ve ever had. I have 4 children and 2 born under Overlake OB care 1 in Spokane Valley , and One in walla walla. All theee other facilities either met or exceeded my expectations for how a woman should be cared for during pregnancy!
This place I honestly wouldn’t recommend they are slow, unresponsive to emergent matters and the drs. Are not the most personable!
Last Wednesday evening is when the emergent event happened I am a high risk as it is, you would think it should be common practice to follow up with your patient after having gone to the ER with Bleeding, Cramping, loss of tissue or plug at 20wks pregnant. I waited for 2 plus hours for a nurse to call me back and was already at the ER being examined By the time she did.
Northwest hospital is also one stars regarding this. Their doctor didn’t do an ultrasound because I had one scheduled in 2days, didn’t test the tissue that came from me while gushing blood, and told me that the pregnancy was “not viable any ways at 20weeks”
Excuse my language but I wanted to slap that Witch. Not only was it insulting to me but I felt brushed off, and my child’s life was disregarded by not only the ER Dr. but my OB Dr. when the next day I began cramping. (& Still spotting all day)
I called the nurse line again- this time they redeemed themselves with a speedy return call from a Dr. Stienburg I believe? She was shocked they didn’t do an ultrasound and was quick and proficient in telling me that she would assure a nurse call the ultrasound clinic to try to get me in earlier and someone would call me next day to check in. And it was still safe to take a single dose of ibuprofen for the cramping.
Of course the nurse next day didn’t call but emailed that “there was no earlier times available.”
Flash forward to today Monday oct. 5 2020 I no longer am Dr. Stephens patient. Or a patient of meridians woman’s clinic. Oh! And I for sure won’t be giving birth at northwest hospital! 🤷🏽♀️ Worst experience I’ve ever had.
