My dog likes the free agility gym toys. There's a full agility course you can train the right dog with, which is not offered at the other dog parks. The biggest mistake I see from owners is that they don't understand that you must be active and running with the dog to get them to do the Agility tricks so consider it a good cardio workout for you too.
Cons about the park is when people don't watch their dogs or bring dogs who aren't friendly. Use good judgment before letting your dog play with other dogs. Sometimes, I will not go in the park if I feel another dog is a threat. I've had my dog attacked a few times from dogs who weren't well socalized. Once, a dog attacked me directly for picking up and protecting my dog from him, and me and another person who's dog was also attracked kept screaming at the owner who was sitting down, ignoring us on her phone.
Also, another Con some people at this park will take big dogs into the little dog area to separate them from the other dogs and either ask people who are already there to leave or tell me I cannot go in because their dog is aggressive. Then they should not be at a dog park. The whole point of a dog park is to let well socalized dogs interact with eachother in ways only dogs understand. I only have one dog, so it is important he has play dates with other dogs for his mental health for things I cannot provide as a human. Being responsible owners is crucial. No one should be scared to have their dogs interact.
Note this big dog in the small dog area is a separate issue that bothers many patrons. Any attacks I've had or have seen the owner was not warned of aggression beforehand so use your best judgements before letting you dog play with other dogs.
