I’ve been coming to van nuys golf course since I was 12 I’m 28 now and recently started getting back into the game. There is rarely ever a wait time. Only $18 to play the executive course or full 18 par 3 course, Yes the whole par 3 is lacking luster in the lush green fairway department but you should only really be using irons almost exclusively for that course. As someone who has struggled hitting irons on the softest of grass the tough ground usually makes you dig in under the ball more thus getting a lot better wedge practice. In my opinion for the price you’re paying both courses are very good even the 9 hole executive Which I believe has 3 par 4’s one of them being fairly deep. With that being said if your trying to pull your driver out there you have to go to the executive course to get what you want while actually playing. If you just want to go to the driving range that’s reasonable too. Bring your own water and try to go in the morning or evening so you’re not stinging your eyes with sweat. Also both of the gentlemen that work at the pro shop are very helpful and informative. (Brian and Dominic.) Cannot beat for the price hands down. If I could change anything it would be the fact that there isn’t a single golf cart for rent so get use to wheeling your bag around in the meantime. I hope to see them add at least a few carts for rent in the future
