I have to say after having two different male attorneys assist me with my two cases I was not getting the effort and communication to resolve my cases. I asked the Judge (court) for a female or transgender attorney. I was referred to the Vancouver Public Defenders Office. I met with my attorney and immediately felt that she had my was the right person to help me. She is confident and likes to go to trial, I felt reassured that this was the person who actually had my interest and was genuinely concerned about the charges my two cases. I was really pleased with her efforts and communication. The results were as one would expect from a qualified intellectual that practiced law in criminal defense case's. I am quite satisfied with the results. In addition she was concerned for my safety, I do not need to share the details. I just want to say thank you to Marina for being here for me and others that may need assistance with the legal and criminal system.
