From

Connecting Historic Fort Vancouver to the Vancouver Waterfront Trail, this pedestrian only throughway appears to unite several distinct moments in time. Early post-colonial America on the one side, modern industry travelling under it, and budding Pacific Northwest commerce on the other side. The elevation is gradual and the walk is easy, with historical tidbits peppered along the way.

From

Last winter we walked from the Fort side across, turned around just before the end. Plants were leafless, you could see quite a bit of the area. Late August, we walked from the river side up and over. It was very hot, little shade, and hard to see much. It's a lovely walk, but would prolly be more fun on a scooter or bike.
