Vashon Physical Therapy has been in business since 1981. We take care to post our no show and less than 24 hour cancellation policy in our office. All our patients are asked to read and sign that they are in agreement with our policy before starting therapy. We do this so we can stay in business and serve you. We try to be fair to you by allowing your Therapist to determine if the no show fee should be applied. If a cancellation is due to illness or emergency circumstances you would not be charged if it was a first time. Your therapist would make the determination as to charging our no show/ less than 24 hour cancellation fee for up to the first FIVE visits. As the owner of the clinic I only get involved when a patient tells the office manager they still want to come to PT but refuse to pay one no show fee. At that time I will listen to what the person has to say and explain the dynamics of running a business. I make it a policy to ask that at least one no show fee be paid prior to continuing therapy at our clinic when there have been 5 or more . We appreciate our patients and want to be fair. We think our policies are more than fair.
