The care my pet receives here is unmatched. My vet is extremely knowledgeable and caring, and I always feel confident I’m receiving the best care for my pet. The problem is VCA never has open appointments, and waiting for the next available slot takes almost a month. This ensures you can't get in for semi-urgent care when a problem arises, leaving you scrambling to find another vet (which you'll have to transfer all your pet's documents to and pay an additional yearly exam for). The cancellation waitlist proves to never get you in sooner, either. Seeing VCA running promotions to gain MORE new clients is frustrating and tells me they do not value existing pets in their care. They need at least three times the amount of vets they currently have if they want to continue to expand their client base so aggressively. This animal hospital clearly is owned by a large corporation concerned only with maximizing profits. It's very disappointing.
Also, I paid for 4 or 5 "yearly" exams in 2023. They love to charge you $132 for a 30-second run-over of your pet almost every appointment.
