I'm sure they're fine unless your animal has any behavioral issues at all. Our cat who we've had less than 3 months was seen, and would not allow the vet to touch him. Second appointment was made with meds prescribed for the next visit with the same result. The vet called him a bully and refused to prescribe the anti-anxiety meds he had been on at the humane society and while in foster, stating it's just behavioral. Refusing to listen to us when we said he's not like this at home and that his foster parent reports they did not see this behavior while he was on the medication, but no. It's behavioral and he's a bad cat apparently. Nevermind he has documented anxiety, newly unmedicated, in a new environment (that he was aggressive in until he felt safe), surrendered by his previous family, moving from house to house the last 6 months. Nope. Bad cat. Disgusted with the way he was dismissed just for not complying with what the vet wanted. Also why have two separate entrances for feline and canine if you're not going to enforce it.

I’ve been going to Dr.Christensen for many years and have appreciated her expertise, compassion and forthrightness. She has always taken time and explained all options available. Not only is Dr. Christensen great to work with but also Devon and the rest of the VCA staff. Thank you so much for taking care of not only my baby but also giving me the comfort of knowing I’m doing the best for my animals.

We scheduled an appointment for my cat adopted through the humane society, only to be told the day of at the appointment that we needed paperwork we were not told to bring. They rescheduled us a month out. You could at least tell people when they need to bring paper work that is detrimental to them being able to have the appointment. I was told NOTHING about this on the phone when we called to schedule. You wasted my time and gas. We took time off work to make this happen only to be told this. We do not live in Tacoma and it was quite a trip for a baby kitten. Absolutely ridiculous. We definitely will not be making this our regular vet.
