My wife and I came to Velvet's Big Easy to try their food before we had them cater our wedding this last summer. Let me tell you, you need to try the red beans and rice! And the Fried chicken, you'll be licking your fingers it was so good! I cannot thank the Chef more, thank you for the amazing food and awesome service. - The Villarreals

The service was great. The atmosphere and food was amazing. This spot has a really nice vibe. I will definitely be back for the Mac and cheese.

Someone said the food was flavorless... Definitely not, People reading! After living in New Orleans, I can say this is probably the closest you're getting to the French quarter in the greater Tacoma area. Cajun done properly!
