A very disappointing experience. I had reasonable expectations, and those weren't even close to being met. Not only did the GPS fleet tracking not work at all as they indicated, but I feel like they were very dishonest. The software did not fit our needs as I was told it would when I first spoke with Telogis about using their services, however, it never worked for us. So we sucked it up and paid for it for 3 years. When our contract was close to being up, I called to cancel and was told that I couldn't cancel because the contract wasn't up yet. When I called back after the three years was up, I was told I couldn't cancel because the contract automatically renewed. So if I can't cancel before, and I can't cancel after, how exactly am I supposed to terminate service? The rep was pretty obnoxious in his insisting that I couldn't cancel because of the auto renewal. I told him that in my 20 years of doing business I'd had plenty of deals renew on a monthly basis after the contract was up, but I had never had someone try to renew a contract on me without my signature and not let me cancel if I needed to. In the end he said he would put in a request for me. They are still charging our company credit card every month. Pretty disappointing. Back to the software... If you do decide to try Telogis, see if you can get a trial before you run their software. It did not work as he indicated it would for us. I'm sure for some delivery companies it works great. When I first spoke with them I told them the nature of our business, and what I needed the software to do and he assured me that it would function exactly as I needed. After a month or two of trying to get it all set up with all of our customers delivery addresses we were left with software that wouldn't let us schedule regular routes. It wouldn't even let us choose them from a list so we could build routes every day based off our current client base. Contacted them again a year later because I was told the features were coming. I now had a new account manager, and still no luck. Every time I tried to see if someone could get it to do what they told me it would, I had a new account manager. So I never worked with the same person twice. Looks like they have high turnover as well. At one point I had a new account manager call me, introduce himself and ask if I needed anything. He attempted to help us, but once again indicated that the features I needed did not exist in the system. The last time I called, once again it was a new account manager, the guy was straight up rude(that's the guy that refused to cancel my contract, even though the original has been up for months now. Overall, very very very disappointing experience. It's been almost four years now and I'm still paying for service I don't use. Biggest disappointment was how dishonest they were in the contract and their refusal to cancel me after the initial 3 years was up. I'm going to see if I can get to someone higher up the ladder, I'll update the review with a final resolution. Hope this helps anyone considering Telogis.
