If a patient comes in saying they need to be seen, it’s an emergency, they are willing to sign any waivers, and you literally have no other patients on the premises, saying you’ll see them in two weeks because you have some procedure in place that requires you to do a pre-evaluation before you can help a patient, is a missed opportunity to ACTUALLY help someone.
