Honestly, worst hair color of my life by Lizzet. I came in asking for honey blonde all over. Showed the picture attached, and then there's what I received which can in no way be mistaken for honey blonde. I am brunette, and in the sun there is an odd red hue. I am at a loss.
Lizzet said she could achieve the color in the picture and was going to lighten my roots (some old highlights were grown out) to create a faded look that would grow out nicely. Consultation mentioned nothing about not being able to achieve the look in the photo. When she was blow drying and I mentioned that it really looked nothing like the photo I had showed her, she kept saying it did. Then she blamed it on the lighting. Then she claimed that she had said during the consultation that to achieve the look from the photo she would need to add highlights. That was a blatant lie. When I told her she did not mention that during the consultation she then offered to correct it, and put highlights in. At this point I had zero trust in her touching my hair with color from that point forward so I refused. She could have at least taken accountability for the mistake, rather than claiming that it was honey blonde, then blaming it on the lighting, then blatantly lying. In no way can my hair color be confused with honey blonde.
Anyone who is concerned about protecting your credit card details should also be warned. When it came time to check out, she asked for Venmo. I removed the app from my phone awhile ago, so I said no I have a credit card. She then pulled out her phone and wanted me to read her my credit card details. Obviously I am not comfortable reading my credit card details nor having my credit card details entered on someone's personal phone. I had to re-download venmo and send her the money that way.
Kelly, the owner, would often be late for my appointments or many times wouldn’t show up. Driving over 30 minutes one way to find out it was for nothing never settled well with me but I continued to give benefit of the doubt.
Parking is difficult most of the time.
The salon is located in Mukilteo with wonderful views of the sound and on clear days, Mt Baker.
