Nice atmosphere, good staff (always courteous). Not for everyone if you're counting your pennies. Fun stuff for gifts well-planned or in a time pinch.

omg. never knew it exsistedf until i came across it looking for another store....love.love.love. the only thing all store employés need to work on. just because i have tattoos evzeuwhzeee dozqnt mean im not gonna pay. just because my card gets denied doesnt mean its not mine or it doesnt neccessrolt mean i dont have a way to pay.....si much jugement so many employés looking for theft or for bad that it can really become a negative...

Not as big as the Village Books in Fairhaven (Bellingham) but like the mother ship, the Lynden branch has a great vibe, friendly knowledgeable staff, and a marvelous, very well curated selection of books. I always find something to read here! The children's books section is excellent. They also have a good assortment of gifts, from scarves to desk supplies to kitchen items, so it's a good place to pick up a gift, whether for a reader or not.
