The owner is friendly and professional. He stocks appropriately and has an excellent deli. His choices in ales, wines, and spirits far exceed the size of his store. I highly recommend patronizing this establishment.

Where do I start with The Village Trader. Their food is outstanding and made to order (The torta sandwich is to die for), they have a large selection of snacks and items to avoid grocery stores, and you can't beat that it's family owned and operated. They have a large variety of liquor and a beer cave inside the cooler. They even have a small hang out area for the local neighborhood kids to lounge in. The Village Trader is an overall outstanding business and they have my constant business.

I have been a customer of The Village Trader since it opened and I love this market! Ernie is not only a wonderful person but he is very customer service oriented. If there is anything you need he will try his best to make it happen. He carries the full line of Boar's Head meat and unlike other smaller stores her charges the same or less than the larger stores like Ralph's or Gelson's. Recently, we had a gathering and I asked Ernie to cater it. I ordered a variety of items which included tacos, salads and sandwiches. The prices were very good and the food was delicious! I would recommend anyone in the area to use this market for catering. He was beyond accommodating to our needs. In this day and age it is so refreshing to have an owner of a business who is so hands on and truly appreciates his customers. Thank you Ernie!
