I arrived at virtue expecting to get some clean time and be on my way. But that wasn't the case, instead I received a warm welcome and tools that will be useful for when I return home an continue my recovery. The staff was always professional and a genuine concern for us Veterans. I have been to multiple 45 day programs and Virtue was by far the most caring and well staffed facility. I plan on staying in touch and recommending Virtue to my veteran community when they need a safe environment to from addiction of any kind. I want to add that there many outings to get you out of the everyday recovery routine. Oh least I forget, (I know this is important a lot of Veterans) there is a master chef on board that puts out some amazing food! Thank you virtue!

As a veteran, I was able to attend dual diagnosis treatment at Virtue at the Point. The counselors were versed in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Complex PTSD, Positive Psychology, SMART Goals, DEAR MAN and other modalities. I would encourage other Veterans struggling with substanse issues and/or mental health issues to attend this facility. I had numerous issues other than dual diagnosis during my stay. The counselors, Techs and Nursing staff were very helpful in dealing with those additional issues. If you are ready to lay down your substanse, and be helped with your mental health, Virtue is the place to go.

Spent a couple weeks at Virtue Astoria, messed up and left on my own for a few days and all I wanted was to go back. The staff is what makes this place so great, especially the nurses and counselors. They don't just do their job but go beyond and sincerely talk to you and genuinely care. ♥️🙏👍
