I've been going to Dr. Gregorius for awhile and have always thought that she was great. Unfortunately, about a year ago, we started to notice a shift in the atmosphere there. It started to feel more like additional services were being pushed on clients. Instead of offering suggestions for things she may be seeing, products that they sell in-house we're pushed and, eventually, though I showed no symptoms of dye eyes, they wanted me to have an expensive in-house treatment that wasn't covered by insurance. I'm sure this treatment is helpful to people displaying symptoms, but it felt a lot like I was being pushed to spend money on something that wasn't needed.
Additionally, we dropped my son's glasses off to be repaired and were told they would be done in a week. Two and a half weeks later, when there for an appointment, we asked about the glasses and all they said was, "We don't have them. We'll call you when we do." At 4 weeks after we dropped them off, I called again and said that it was unacceptable that it had been so long with no updates and that my son needed his glasses. They called the next day and said, "Oh. It looks like the frames were on backorder, but they are supposed to be here today." Somewhere along the way, the ball got dropped. They either forgot to send his glasses in or neglected to check the status when I asked about them.
I have also, just recently, received bills sent months later, with no explanation (when I has already paid at the office and have never had to pay additional).
This office had, unfortunately, lost our business.
