Please, please, please avoid this place.
I was sold a 2006 PT Cruiser touted with "only 68k miles" and from the moment I drove off the lot, I had major issues with this car that was not fully aware of. I fell for the low mileage and regret buying this lemon.
I know as is sales are as such..as is. But some of these issues that I wish i knew about before signing. I ended up dumping an additional $3000 to fix what I think are major safety concerns including damaged engine mounts, broken control arms, no spare tire, spare tire frame was broken and front bumper fell off. In addition I had to replace the catalytic converter, battery, fix the zip tied glove box, and minor things like broken windshield wipers and sprayer tubes which dissolved when I touched them. Insane.
When I talked to the sales rep who sold me the car, they agreed the issues were crazy for "such a low mileage car" and said they would talk to the owners. A couple weeks went buy and I heard nothing. When i followed up, the rep got back to me and said "said sorry the owners are gone a lot but im going to talk to them still and bat for you"
Another 2 attempts went buy and I finally went in with the receipts. The rep said "so sorry the owners are gone a lot still but im still trying to talk to them and will take them the receipts" Okay? His other solution was to buy back my car and upsell me to a new car. I declined and hoped for the reimbursement route.
Another couple weeks go by and nothing and when I got a hold of the sales person all could say was "oh yeah..sorry..the owners said no". Were you planning on following up anytime soon? Why did I had to call you yet again. No sense of urgency.
I asked for a dependable car and I got a lemon and of course I can't do anything cause it's as is. But this review is based on their terrible communication skills, poor follow up, and I guess disassociated owners who the sales people seem to never be able to get a hold of, only to end up letting you down.
Avoid this and find a better place on south Tacoma way like I wish I did.
Merry Christmas.
