Had a huge backyard project. The rains over the course of the last 1.5 years revealed some serious drainage issues that caused massive problems in other areas of our yard.

To fix the issue - and expand the size of my usable yard - the project involved excavating a large portion of hillside, installation of two separate retaining walls with French drains running behind it, joining those retaining walls with a pony wall, new drainage throughout the yard, new electrical, new lighting, new sod, new sprinkler system, and probably other technicalities I’m missing. The entire project took about 5 months, though a good month or more of that was due to rain delays.

Vitoli was fantastic. What I appreciated the most, and what I find lacking with contractors in general, is communication. They were both proactive and extremely responsive. They showed up when they said they were going to show up. If weather conditions prevented it, they would alert me, tell me when they believed conditions would allow for work to continue, and showed up when they said. They took care of all permits, HOA approvals, and paperwork. I reviewed everything, every step along the way, but they did all the paperwork.

The project plan was followed to a ‘T’, even when I initiated changes along the way. I felt like I had a team of advocates and advisors at my disposal.

I appreciated their work and their client service ethic. Very, very highly recommend them to anyone who wants a job done right by people who take pride in their work.
