100% absolutely the best experience I've ever had trying something new!
Gordon is a great teacher, we were really engaged the whole day with the process and learning of making knives. We are so happy with our knives, both are beautiful and unique, made for us by us. It had never occurred to me something like this existed until I saw it on Around the House NW with Eric G, and I'm glad I was introduced to this great Oregon artisan. I loved watching him work too, every action had purpose and it's always exciting to see someone like that create.
We got the couple's retreat. It's a little cabin on their property, right next to the shop. It's very private and very cozy. We were even given farm fresh eggs and let me tell you....those are the best eggs you will ever eat! Dusty Rose takes care of the cabin and made sure all our needs were met. And their children are absolutely precious, bringing us animals to pet like chickens and bunnies! Their Walkau the dog and Acorn the cat are also great greeters!
Gordon, Dusty Rose, and their kids are wonderful people. Absolutely enjoyable, kind, and generous. We will definitely be back!
