My family lives coming here to watch the Monroe Community Band play. Always a good time.

A great old theater, with a classic acoustic. You really don't see (or hear) places like this any more. It's clear there has been a lot of restoration work over the years. The chairs are original, though, and can pose problems to some. Still, well worth the opportunity to experience an early 20th century art-deco auditorium.

The facility is worn but it was wonderful to watch local residents and kids perform a version of a Christmas Carol. They did an outstanding performance. I really enjoyed the simple local performance. Of course my son was in the play. Just a simple small town show.
