Went there for a Saturday afternoon appointment COVID testing for a flight to Hawai'i early Tuesday morning. Checked that pedestrians can go to get the tests, but have to go from the outside to the drive through window. There they check the test confirmation number and your identification. They then pass the swab kit through the sliding tray. In other words, you are standing on the roadway for cars using the drive through lane.
At the completion of the swab, the swab stick is snapped in half and placed into a vial with a screw on cap to seal it then dropped into a steel box outside the wall.
It does feel odd to stand where cars normally drive through and have a line of cars waiting for their turn at the window. Most people drive through but I walked over and entered the store only to be told tests are done outside, not in the store.
