Being that I'm from out of state, I didn't realize they didn't sell cigarettes. Which is perfectly fine. Policy is policy which I respect.
However, this is how my experience went.
Me: "Sir, do you sell cigarettes?"
Employee: "NO! and I'm glad we don't!" We do have a lot of Covid shots! "
Me: "Oh, OK, do you know where I could buy some? BTW, I already got my Covid Booster, thanks."
Employee: "No! I know it might be a simple inconvenience to you but, cigarettes are a huge inconvenience to the rest of us!"
Me: "Ohhhhhhhh, OK, well you have a good night sir."
As I'm walking out
Employee: "That's the problem, all you cigarettes smokers have no consideration for the elderly! "
I'm not a scientist, and I don't know how cigarette smokers affect the Covid rates but this person was completely unprofessional and should not work a job that deals with communicating with other people. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
