After reading all the other reviews, I see that I’m not alone in my feelings. Horrible customer service. My prescription was transferred to this location because it was the only one in the area that had it in stock. I arrived at pharmacy drive thru and waited 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge me only to be told their system was down and was rebooting. I was told I could either wait 30 minutes or come back in 30 minutes, I chose to wait as it took me 20 minutes to get here. After 30 minutes went by I came back through the drive thru and was told that my prescription (one I’ve been on since I was 2 years old) required a pharmacists review but that the pharmacist is now on a break and I will have to wait another 30 minutes. Why would you tell someone to wait or come back in 30 minutes if the pharmacist isn’t even going to be available? UPDATE: I had my prescription transferred to a new pharmacy and didn’t need a pharmacist to review.
I would not recommend this pharmacy due to the lack of customer service. My prescription was transferred over to this location after they had been called to confirm it was in stock. I ended up finding our via a text message that they did not in fact have the medication. Rather than call around to other pharmacies, the individual told me to call around and find the medication myself. They are able to look at inventory of other Walgreens pharmacies around the area. I received a text message. When I called, I was on hold for over 25 minutes and then was hung up on. When I arrived at the store, rather than receive an apology, I received the same rude mistreatment from the same person, but while face to face.
I have given Walgreens a pass many times knowing they are short staffed, but I am done. Lack of medication and customer service is no longer acceptable.
