I love Walgreens and this location! They have a wonderful team of employees who are all very kind, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and great at their jobs. I live in the Marina district, and I have been shopping at this location for many years.
Please be kind and patient with the employees. They have had to endure an incredible rise in thefts due to the recent crime surge in San Francisco and the lack of deterrence from our current weak laws. They have a security guard 24/7 so it’s very safe, but they have been challenged through no fault of their own.

I have been going to this store for almost 10 years and had very mixed experience.
I asked pharmacists to set up an automatic refill countless times, but it is still not done. This is a pretty much an ongoing problem.
On another hand, they did help me in an emergency situation once. I had to leave the country for a while on a short notice, and they helped me get a vacation refill quickly.
My take away: The staff may be over-worked, yet they seem very willing to help. It appears that Walgreens system is a messed up and does not retain autorefill information properly.
