If you're having issues from the stimulant shortage I totally recommend dropping Walgreens altogether.
On multiple occasions I've spent >45 mins on hold with this specific pharmacy location only for them to hang up without answering when I reach the front of the line (the automated on-hold music tells you when you're next). At this point I'm pretty convinced that the "queue" is just callers ahead of you hanging up -- or being hung up on.
Since the stimulant shortage began, the Walgreens pharmacy chain in general refuses to give out information to patients about the availability of their prescriptions at other Walgreens locations. They require your provider to "shop around" for a location that has the rx in stock -- and many providers simply refuse to do this. This means you have to pick a location at random and hope they have it in stock or face a 1-3 day delay EVERY TIME you guess incorrectly. The pharmacists/assistants tend to phrase this like it is a legal issue but I think they may've just been coached to use wording that implies their competitors won't do this for you.
There are several who will, though. Walgreens is just worse.
Included below is proof that I'm not exaggerating my 47 wait time -- that simply ended with the line disconnecting. It's not as easy to proof that this is the 3rd such occasion but I promise it is.
I guess at this point I'm hoping someone at the company itself reads this, lol
