Paul at customer service was the most aggressive and rude encounter my roommate and I have ever had. We came in and before we even opened our mouths, he exasperatedly told us that customer service closes at 8pm; whatever, that is fine, you could have just said, "Sorry, we are closed," instead of letting out a massive sigh, rolling your eyes and acting like we are stupid.
We proceeded to ask if there were any other ways we could try to make a return, as in going to a regular register, but he assumed we were asking him to process it past hours and he immediately blew up, huffed and puffed and flared his nostrils, pulled this nasty face, slammed the little employee gate at the desk, and roughly handled the register while aggressively trying to get us to come do the transaction. We immediately said "Wow, no, okay, we are just going to leave." He continued to aggressively attempt to get us to do the transaction as we walked away.
We understand that Paul may have had a long day, and may not have wanted to deal with a "stupid" question at night past the counters hours, but a simple "I'm sorry, no," or even just a plain "no," would have sufficed. That is no way to treat a customer.
Do better Walmart, and maybe find a job you don't hate, Paul.
