UPDATE 08/13/24: Today I had a rough experience that either was a mistake or a system error while exchanging a $200 AGM car battery I purchased last spring that suddenly failed. They were supposed to exchange it under warranty but somehow it was refunded back to my card instead. Have to wait 3-5 days for it to show back up. I had thought it was weird I didn't get any receipt or record of the exchange, as I normally do for car batteries over the years, but everyone kept telling me to just trust the system. But I stayed. Looked up my receipt after waiting for 20-30 minutes under the app and sure enough it was marked as refunded. I had also got a gift card for the core charge, which was my first suspicion something was wrong. It should just be a washed out exchange. So after 7+ people telling me the same thing, front end associate lead Malcolm came to help, was able to get a hold of management, and they went ahead and resolved the issue and gave me the battery free of charge. Reason being I didn't have another $200+ in my account, and the debit refund wouldn't be back for days, and my car would have been stranded with no battery. So thank you for everyone that helped me today, because while I remained patient and was there for an hour, it was extremely frustrating for me. I had Yusima (think I spelled that right) and Jay (lead) help but both kinda left me hanging and I was up there for an hour. I appreciate Malcolm taking a hold of the situation and helping out. I've given Walmart tons of money over the years especially for car batteries (I run a small car shop), and this is the first time I've had this happen like this.
If something doesn't feel right, DONT LEAVE and figure it out for clarification. Never leave without a receipt for anything that's high dollar value no matter who tells you what.
ORIGINAL POST: I love nearby and frequent Walmart for certain groceries and items. I seriously feel bad for the employees here.. customers in this area are the absolute worst. The customers that come to this Walmart are worse than Tacoma's Walmart experience.
Please PLEASE treat their employees better.
