This review will be directed at Walmart's Avia shoes.. Don't waste your money. They will come apart from the soles within only a couple months, every time without fail. They're made in China, and they live up to the China brand, which is worthless. Spend $30 more on a pair of shoes on a better brand and you will do much better.

Horrible customer service. I just needed to buy 9V batteries, but they were locked. I asked the nearest employee if they had the key, and they simply said no and walked away. I followed and asked if they knew who would have it, but they said no again and pointed me to another employee. The next person also said no and didn’t know who had the keys, directing me to the next register. Same ordeal. Not a single person knew who had the keys.The fourth person, on the opposite side of the store, told me they didn’t have the keys but called for someone who did. Finally, I was helped. However, when I mentioned that I’d just buy the batteries at self-checkout, which was right next to where they were locked, I was treated like a thief. I wasn’t allowed to hold onto the batteries, and they insisted on walking me to the self-checkout.It’s absolutely ridiculous how difficult it has become to shop at Walmart. From now on, I’ll be going to Fred Meyer for batteries. I don’t appreciate the judgment or the terrible customer service

As you walk into this Walmart Supercenter along the Oregon Coast in Newport, you'll see very uniquely together merchandise displays that will catch your eye, a clean store, great in-stock but one thing that is certainly lacking is great customer service, I was never asked if I needed help finding anything or even a hello, the checkout wait time was about 5 mins.
This is a well-laid-out location that was recently updated with a remodel.
