Attended the location in Delta BC on Sept 1 2024. We often go to this location.
This location always has security on tjeie meat which sets off the alarm every time. Today my son bought 2 packages of meat and 3 other items. The alarm of course went off. The lady manning the door took him aside and looked at his receipt which had all the items on it. She then kept saying it had 6 items on it and he had only 5. I'm not sure if she was ever trained on how their receipts look and discounts. She basically kept us there several minutes basically accusing my son of ... not sure...reverse stealing? I finally said ...unless you want to give us a 6th item you say is missing then we are leaving. We have never been held up at a store before because they were accusing of of not having enough items.
Seriously Walmart ..please do better training. My son looked like a thief as people kept walking by as the alarm went off. We are still so confused about why we were being interrogated. Do better.
Someone show this to the store Manager. If I could give Walmart below zero stars, I definitely would. This experience was beyond bad. I walked in hoping to grab a shopping basket, but what I found was absolutely disgusting. The baskets were so dirty that I kept on searching for cleaner ones, but they only got worse and worse. I approached an employee and asked if they ever clean them “in a very nice way”, and brace yourself for this one, her response was plain and simple "I don't know." She looked at them and cared less. Can you believe it? No effort to help me find something suitable and somewhat clean. The overall cleanliness of the store is a complete disaster. The self-checkout is a nightmare, never seen a clean day in its life, except for when it was new. It's just so disappointing and unprofessional. Walmart definitely has enough money to hire more employees or cleaners to get the job done. This level of cleanliness is not just poor, it's downright disgusting, gross, and unsafe. They need to step up their game and prioritize sanitization. The baskets are dirtier than people's pasts, and that's saying something! The two pictures don’t do justice, there are just an example. I’m sure whoever took the time to read this agrees with me 100000% I don't usually leave bad reviews but this time I had to not just for me but for everyone else.
