I'm impressed. Everything was spectacular. The service, the selection, the quality, the warranty and the prices. I was not expecting to be so wowed by Walmart.
I received my vision prescription from the office upstairs beside lenscrafters. I took a look inside LensCrafters and the frames seem to be around $400 and up. I heard Walmart has incredible prices on glasses so I decided to give it a try. But I was reluctant because I was expecting Walmart to have a poor selection of low quality tacky glasses.
I was surprised to see such a large selection and the frames seemed to be excellent quality. They actually looked exactly the same as the ones from lenscrafter except the prices were around $50. I found a pair that almost looked identical to my expensive Ralph Lauren frames for $79. The optician explained that many of these frames are actually made by the same places that make the high end brand names. They just don't have the logo so you're saving all that money.
I spent over an hour picking out glasses. The ladies that work there were wonderful. Marguerite and her students Simran and Raj. I had a really good time trying on glasses. We were laughing and joking around. It was such a fun experience. I love that they gave me their honest opinion instead of just telling me that they all look good. They let me know which ones didn't work for my face.
Marguerite was so experienced and knowledgeable. I was nervous about switching to progressive lenses but she reassured me and explained everything. My glasses came with a great warranty in case I break them. And I was told if I wasn't happy they would make it right. They even repaired my husband's glasses for free while I shopped. I was not expecting such incredible service. I highly recommend this place.
