Initially ordered 3/4 minus crushed gravel for walkways, gave them the measurements and just the right amount was delivered quickly. A sales person was also very helpful with information on product choices for this project, ensuring I made the right decision.
Next I ordered fine mulch, again gave them the measurements and this time 3x more than I needed was delivered. In short, the manager/owner took no responsibility for the error and I was stuck with $450 of mulch I did not need and could not get rid of. To boot, it was infested with forest and carpenter ants so now I have to spend extra $ to try and knock these down without harming my plants or pets.

I’ve always received friendly and efficient service here. I get gravel and topsoil here a half dozen or more times a year, and I also rented one of their track loaders (it was a great machine at a reasonable price). However, you really know the quality of service when someone messes up, because you can see what the company does to fix it. In my case, Walrath’s went above and beyond to remediate a couple of problems (a truck driver ran into my picnic table, and an office person billed me for the wrong amount for a topsoil delivery). I was really impressed at how willing they were to take care of these problems so promptly and courteously.

We were out looking for some landscape rocks to build a small retaining wall. These guys jumped at the chance to help us pick our bricks and then helped us load their entire stock into our truck. Awesome service, awesome selection. I have only one small complaint, these guys gave us far too much work to do once we got home!
