If you’re in the Los Angeles area visiting then I highly recommend a visit to the Warner Bros Studio tour.
The tour felt very personal as it takes place on a single tour cart that holds around 9 people and 1 tour guide. Our guide, Craig, was excellent throughout it and had so much knowledge of the productions of current and former. Craig asked at one start what movies/TV shows each family/couple liked and linked back to these throughout the tour which was a really nice touch. He consistently pointed out where filming had taken place and was a delight to spend time with.
The tour lasts for a good hour and you see a lot of different locations. These are both on the buggy and off as there are certain locations you can walk on foot with your guide.
Once the buggy tour was over you have a self paced exhibition to explore which exhibits props/costumes from Warner Bros productions. There’s also a fun area where you learn more about filming techniques.
Overall, the cost of this tour and the content included was excellent.

We had a great time at the Warner Bros Studio tour. It was very easy to book tickets and it is well worth the price. The studio tours, the Friends and Big Bang Theory sets, the Marvel characters, costumes, props of current and past shows were on display, as well as full interactive "how it works" displays were very entertaining. The full access to the backlot and into the sound stages was a treat, The full tour is very easy going, informative and we had a great guide. Aaron F (aka real like Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang) was a fantastic guide, he walked us through the sets, gave us very detailed and interesting information on shows and movies that were filmed on these sets. He made sure all participants felt a part of the tour and could pose questions at any time. If you go to the top floor of the parking you can get a great view of the backlot. We were unsure of doing this tour, but I am happy that we did it. My two teens were delighted with the tour and perhaps it sparked an interest in them. The only small negative would be the fee for parking for guests who have purchased a guided tour.
