Dr. Yee prescribed me medication without checking drug interactions, and preclscribed me something that puts me at risk of death, as well significantly higher risk of other non-fatal conditions like Tardive Dyskinesia. It was the WAL MART PHARMACIST that noticed the drug interaction and told me it would be very dangerous to take. I checked with my samsung health app, as well as a quick google search, and they both confirmed. I then checked with my psychiatrist (can't just rely on dr. Google) and he also confirmed that it would be very dangerous to take it.
Beyond that, he was rude, pompous, and wouldn't listen to me speak without interrupting and cutting me off. Maybe if he had shut his mouth for more than half a second, he'd have been more informed of my situation and could have provided any level of care/help.
Its crazy that doctors don't have to go through retraining. He is completely oblivious to medical advances in the last 15 years, and hasn't even heard of a condition I have called ARFID. It entered the DSM in 2013. There's HEAPS upon HEAPS of medical data that lay out the intrinsic relationship between ARFID and gastroparesis(another condition i have). He didn't want to hear about it and called me "Dr. google". Insanely disrespectful from someone who doesn't even understand the subject matter.
It's really frustrating when you're sick for a long time, if no one seems to have an answer immediately, they just shrug their shoulders and move on. Before I saw dr yee, I saw dr Rogers in gig harbor. The last thing he said to me was "I'm not sure how to help you. I guess I'll see you in 3 months". And that was it. I got essentially the same thing from dr yee. "Here take this medication and leave. I'm not going to make sure it's safe for you to take, or explain the risks to you. Oh were you trying to tell me something? Well don't, just take the pill and quit bothering me". (Obviously a paraphrase from my perspective)
