Dr Johnson is a wonderful veterinarian. She saved my dog Nomie's life .I will always be internally grateful to her. I've known Dr Johnson and have been a client for over 30 years. She is a brilliant vet and I would recommend her to anyone. But, its the current practice that I have an issue with. I've noticed a decline in customer service since Dr.Johmeon sold her business.. As a paying customer and an Organizational Development professional it appears no one is in charge. Rules are made up as they go along and there's not a good outcome for the customer. Phones are rarely answered, and if they are your put on hold indefinitely. In all fairness there's one person who doesn't do that, but the other person is notorious to put the customer on hold for long periods of time to go in the back to go to the bathroom, get coffee, chit chat, etc. I've seen it.. I also have to fact check any answers to my questions bc there's an employee that just tells you anything they dream of in that moment. And, there doesn't seem to be an appreciation for the human that pays the bill.ir wasn't always like this. Several years ago Dr Johnson had a top notch professional team who were outstanding. Theresa, Maya, Kim, and Ariel. They were the glue that kept that practice together. I believe it was bc they loved what they did, and they loved their job. I brought my sick dog in and I was told it was time for her rabies shot. I asked if I could wait until she got better. She didn't have a fever or wasn't vomiting, but she had blood in her h urine. The vet told me if my dog didn't get her rabies shot I could leave. I ended up having to give my sick dog the rabies shot. I also brought in my dying cat, Lexie in. I spent over $1,000 on tests. They made a follow-up appt for the next week. It was touch and go and one the day of the appointment she seemed a little better. She purred for the first time in weeks. I knew she wasn't going to be around much longer so I canceled the appointment. The person who puts everyone on hold and chit chats charged me an office visit. I finally left and I now now go to Central Animal hospital where I am treated well, and respected. They answer the phones in a timely manner, and the vets are reasonable. and the employees always give the customer an informed answer... That's not a lot to ask for...
