$30k remodel in litigation and the owner of the company is avoiding lawyers to address a lawsuit that has been filed since 2021. Would not recommend this service to anyone.

The owner came out to do the sales pitch, which was professional and he seemed knowledgeable. We never saw him again during the course of the project. At one point, I stated cc'ing him on emails because I felt he should know what was going on. I was wrong. He would pass the buck to his fron office, who tried their best to keep things moving along. From the beginning of the project, things went bad. We were not informed every step of the way; some days they would send people out to work without informing us or we would wait for plumbers to show for hours which never did, for example; the demo cost us an extra $700 for a piece of plywood (something sitting in the back of their pickup truck that they charged us $700 for) they said would not come off of the tub during demo; the company that did the tile work missed approx 70% of the caulking and some of the tile was either broken or not straight (we have pics where we put tape of every imperfection in the tiling) - and we had to call them back out in excess of 3 times to correct; the tile company sent a younger person (instead of the experienced person) to do the corrections and after he tried to correct, twice, the tile company''s owner had to come out; someone with the tile company tried to push caulk/concrete down the tub drain & heater vent once the tile job was done; we sent WSKB pictures to advise; the demo person put 2 dents (dents in sheetrock) in wall during demo and took 2 trips out to correct; had to send pics repeatedly showing what went wrong here and there during the project; the plumber installed the new toilet and didn't take away the old one until we requested; the new toilet was not working properly-seat wouldn't stay down; close to the end of the project, which was a nice gesture, WSKB sent a gift basket to attempt to console us but no thank you for your business, etc. the only professional outfit that they used was the glass company that installed our shower door! They were professional and timely and did a great job from start to finish. There were several misunderstandings during the process and we were not treated w/professionalism. Although our bathroom looks good now, we would not use them again. Very disappointed that the owner who sold us did not think enough of the job to come out to see what the complaints were or the progress of the job; nor did he send a project manager out to inspect the work of his subs until we lodged approx 5 complaints during the project itself and the tile person did not remedy it on his own. At the end of the job, when they needed us to sign paperwork, they had to call the tile company out yet again to remedy the floor - they left some paste like substance on the floor and WSKB's project manager had to remain w/them until it was all remedied, apologizing for the problems along the way. The tile sub they used was terrible.

Be very careful before signing on with WSKB. My "3 to 4-week" bathroom remodel took 9 weeks!!! Materials I selected on August of 2019 had to be re-ordered a year later when my job started --- OR the order was not placed when I told them what I wanted and then when the supplies were needed, it would take a month for the order to come in. I had to reorder my tile choices at the last minute. They broke a mirror. The replacement didn't fit. They broke a light fixture. I did the running around to replace it. It was miserable from start to finish. I did the clean-up after the job was done just to be rid of them. Just relaying this small portion of the trials and frustrations stresses me out all over again. Be careful.
