I contacted Waters Edge Lodge to get some information and assistance with a family member who broke her hip and was recovering from hip replacement surgery. They offered that they have a short term Respite option. This option worked out perfectly for her and they could accommodate her immediately. Once we began to make arrangements with WEL, they worked closely with the hospital to ensure her transition went smoothly. They provided guidance to the hospital staff to ensure a successful transition. They were very responsive and kept in close contact with us as the arrangements were in process. The staff made the onboarding process easy and made sure the room was set up well for her rehab. She is doing very well. The lodge itself is very nice and in a beautiful and convenient location. What was a fairly stressful situation initially turned into a much better experience thanks to the Waters Edge staff. Very pleased with the folks at Waters Edge Lodge! Thank you!

After crashing my motorcycle two months earlier I ended up being recommended to Waters Edge by several people who work in the segment of health care. In a month of residency I was constantly impressed with the genuinely good spirits of all personnel top to bottom. That made a tough time almost enjoyable. I will certainly miss the fresh and delicious food more than anything though.

My dad has lived at the Waters Edge Lodge for the last (approx.) 6 years. It has been a very good experience. They have done an amazing job keeping the residents safe and healthy throughout COVID. They treat the residents like family. The staff members are kind, compassionate and respectful. I must say, it gives the family peace of mind knowing that Papa Joe is so well taken care of!
