Brad Smith, owner was very helpful throughout the permitting process, design and installation of both a ramp and floating dock on Lake Cushman, (Hoodsport, WA.). The process took 2+ years from start to finish (2018-2020). Given the mutual respect he has developed with Tacoma Power, I was able to get my design and project completed more easily. I have found him to be easy and professional to deal with. He is a good communicator and educated me on technical issues related to our design, in a respectful manner, answering all of my questions. I recommend WaterSmith Construction highly, for the quality of their work, building docks and aluminum welded ramps/walkway. He uses the highest grade materials and his price is fair.
The project couldn’t have been better planned or better executed! Brad gave me a good price on the repair of a critical piling when it wasn’t part of the original plan and came back on his own time to secure my dock ‘au gratis. Kept to the schedule and finished five days early was another bonus! It’s a story I love to tell.
