I played my first game of Warhammer here, and this still stands as the best game store community I’ve ever known.
The atmosphere and vibes of this place are positive and welcoming, they have really good drinks with rotating specials that keep the menu fresh, and the selection of terrain and tables is incredible.
If you’re into any tabletop wargaming, or even just curious about it, I can’t recommend Waystone enough.
You really can't go wrong with this place. Staff and clientele alike are friendly, positive, non-judgmental and helpful to newcomers and veterans just the same. The drinks (beer, wine, sodas, and beer/wine cocktails) are good, there's tons of (comfortable, well-appointed) space, and the membership options pay for themselves if you use their venue to order figurines or reserve tables.
Even if you don't play Warhammer or miniatures games, it just has a good vibe.
