I just wanted to write about my experience with West Coast Cash Register. I purchased a small Sharp cash register from a going out of business sale to use for PTO concession sales. Well it was locked and I couldn't get into it. I went to West coast to ask if they had a key to open it and to sell me some key. The person I needed to see wasn't there so I was asked to leave it and I would be called. Two hours went by and as I was calling them the guy was calling me telling me he had to manually open the bottom to get it open so I told him I would be right over to get it. I get there and he explains how he had to open it then tells me that will be 95 dollars I'm like what! So he said oh I will drop that down to half. Well first of all I was expecting to to get some keys. "No keys to be had" and no one called me to tell me what had to be done and give me the opportunity to say yes or no to the charge. I could have found someone to open it. I am doing a community service for a school and trying to make money not spend a fortune. I will say I will never go there again They scammed me out of money. If that's how they operate I will let everyone I know. The whole charge was more than I paid for the register. I plan on calling their cooperation office
