Drive up to Wear-Tek on Highway 2 in Spokane, you will see a haze coming out of the building that smells like burnt plastic. I get dizzy in about 8 minutes working across the street from the vapors this company emits into our air.
Across the street is a polo field where young kids play soccer and other sports. A horse pasture sits next to the polo field, but both the horses and the kids breathe this dizzying stink like a bonfire full of plastic bags is burning somewhere near.
This company doesn't care about the health of its workers, or the health or the comfort of its neighbors. Please know if you do business with Wear-Tek you are supporting a severe industrial polluter and giving them the profits to continue polluting our air. If you can, PLEASE buy somewhere else!
