The ladies in the office were very pleasant and easy to talk to. They were very knowledgeable about the bugs around my house and what to expect when the technician called. When the technician came out he was very professional and took care of the issue with boxelder bugs. As a result of the treatment I will continue to use Weaver Exterminating service for all my pests problems
I’ve never had a business tell me that they would charge me extra for a “consultation” vs. a verbal estimate, if I wanted a written quote for services that I had initially requested an estimate for. The woman I spoke with last week was very rude, and when I called today to follow up, ready to sign up for services, I mentioned that to another staff member today that the woman last week seemed frustrated with me. The woman on the phone said “yes she was and rightfully so”... All I had done was simply explain that I was needing a written estimate which wasn’t provided so I could see cost and services rendered, the woman today said they only do that if I’m ready to sign for services then and there (I wanted the opportunity to shop around for price/value). I had also initially stated I was hoping to not sign a contract for multiple services, and she said they couldn't offer that, which I completely understand, but again I of course wanted the opportunity to shop around. They were offering a shorter contract of services, about 3 months, not a year which I was comfortable with after she clarified everything via a voicemail. I called back today wanting to start services, and ask a simple question as to whether occlusion would be included or if I had to hire someone else. She said that the technician would have pointed those out at his initial walk through. I explained I don’t live over there (this is my rental property), and was hoping to get it written on an estimate, which is when she rudely said they would charge a consultation fee for that. I don’t understand how I am the bad guy in this situation for asking a business to simply accommodate a written estimate so I can see what I am getting with my services. Today was supposed to just be me signing up for services, and turned into this company pushing me away acting like I was the rude one and an inconvenience. I had to hang up the phone because I was starting to get upset. I work in customer service, I understand when people are being rude and uncalled for. I don't think asking for a written estimate, calling to clarify what was included (because I don't have it in writing otherwise I wouldn't have been bothering them), and shopping around for my options is deserving of the tone these woman have taken with me.
